Offered through The Whole Health Center Membership Program
The stress of our ecological, economic, social, and political future weighs heavily on many of us. The future calls to us to change, and to change now. Those changes require patience, perseverance, and practice. Regulating our nervous system while still feeling and processing what is happening will help foster functional peace for conflict resolution within ourselves and our community. Forward thinking healthy behaviors help us to navigate stress and difficulties ahead. Mind and body preparation is key to our evolution.
In this program, participants focus on the process of showing up with heart centered integrity for the suffering and conflict of our current and future times. We will explore themes of ecology, social conflict, economy, culture and how we will navigate necessary change. Practices for body, mind, and spirit will be provided as well as opportunities to explore and shift perspectives. Together, we will craft individual and community plans for the changes the future requires.
SOUNDheart is Remote and meetings will be held through Zoom.
We will work as a group to cultivate emotional integrity and moral courage, support our nervous systems ( individual and collective), and remain regulated so we can approach situations with compassion, resiliency, and clarity. Monthly meetings will be complemented with resources for independent practice.
Sound has several meanings. It can mean what we hear when we listen, or noise we make ourselves. Sound is also be a way of being, with clarity and supportive strength. Or a body of water, for anchorage and rest. Together, we will explore all these definitions as we embody this theme of Sound-ness for ourselves, our families, and our communities.
